Commonwealth Supportive Services is a Provider Agency licensed in the State of Pennsylvania with the Office of Developmental Programs (ODP) . It is founded on the fundamental principle of giving. The act of giving and helping others is better than kneeling down to pray. People with intellectual disabilities and the elderly may not have braces or physically noticeable defects. But these people desperately need our help. This is the driving force that enables us to remain in this honorable and noble profession.
The Organization is committed to enhance, inspire, encourage, and motivate people with intellectual disabilities live successful everyday lives; we thrive to assist them in making meaningful choices of appropriate supports and services to meet their needs. This effort will ultimately increase their ability to function, be in control of their lives, relationships, and finances, and attain their human potential.
The Founder and Executive Director of Commonwealth Supportive Services is an accomplished Human Services Professional for more than twenty years, supporting people with developmental disabilities as well as the elderly in advocacy and supportive services. He is a patient and compassionate individual dedicated to providing individuals and families with exceptional supports.
Thomas Kargbo has a proven track record to accurately identify, develop, and implement effective treatment plans to increase his clients’ growth and success. He is highly skilled in relationship management, regulation compliance, and supervision. He is recognized for top productivity, innovation, and consistently going above and beyond what the job requires. He has continued to own and operate this organization since July 20, 2013 to the present.
